Conservatory Roof Blinds Cooler in summer and warmer in winter - for conservatory roofs the pleated blind is the perfect answer due to its versatility. Nearly all shapes can be covered and when not required stacked neatly into the eaves. Steel wire support is used for maximum tension ensuring minimum sag. We also use a pleat equalizer which ensures that blinds maintain their shape and that the window surfaces remain covered. All triangular shapes are made so that the pleats are horizontal matching those of rectangular shapes. We DO NOT fan shapes like many other blind companies. A truly comprehensive range of performance fabrics is offered all with great colourways - many with optional translucent or opaque backings. Operation is by means of a pole with a wand head - There are no ugly cords on pulleys hanging all round the conservatory. »Top Conservatory Side BlindsAny of our blinds can be fitted to Conservatory sides, with rollers and verticals proving to be the popular choice. However the demand for pleated blinds has risen quite dramatically in the last two years. Almost uniquely pleateds can be rebated into the window frames (see photo under pleated blinds) eliminating any loss of window ledge. Ornaments and plants can be left in position. As this is a tensioned blind and is fixed to the window itself no movement of the blind can be seen, heard or felt whilst the windows are open - a definite advantage over rollers and verticals.
